💛Toadie's Carrd💛

(Toadie, they/she, 22)
I make way too much Undertale/Deltarune content.
💛About Me💛
is saying i have social anxiety appropriate in an about me section?
I'm Toadie! I make way too much Undertale/Deltarune content and post it on my YouTube and various SoundCloud accounts! The primary places my stuff can be found are linked in the main section, but if you're looking for more:Monster Mix (SoundCloud)
T-SPIN (SoundCloud)
Non-Quicksilver AU Account / @d4shingtoadie (SoundCloud)
I'm non-binary and 22 years old. I go by they/she pronouns and prefer neutral terms when spoken to/about. For examples, check out my Pronouns.page.My interests include: programming, making music (wow), Undertale/Deltarune (wow²), Mario (wow³), Kirby, Tetris, and a handful of other things I'm struggling to specifically recall.I also sometimes dabble in making art, though I don't have an account where I post that stuff too frequently.
Ways you can reach out to me currently are via my main SoundCloud (since I don't check the DMs of the various alt accounts until I have to be logged into them again), as well as my Discord (@dashingtoadie).
I don't accept friend requests from people I don't know, but DMs are open, so feel free to message me.I'm prone to social anxiety and might not always immediately respond to DMs, BUT I'm trying to be a bit better about it, so here's the best ways to ensure that I'll respond:
Don't just say hi! I like knowing what I'm getting into conversation-wise.
Make sure you're not about to ask me something I've already answered in the FAQ!
If I haven't replied in a few days (at least 3), feel free to give me a quick nudge! I'll try to respond as soon as I can (and if I'm too busy I hope I'll at the very least acknowledge it.)
please don't call me "man", "bro", "dude", anything that falls under those categories -- the Pronouns.page thing I've listed above gives decent examples of things I'm fine being called, but I figure it's worth mentioning here as well.
💛FAQ💛
Because "QTASABNTO" (Questions That Are Sometimes Asked But Not Too Often) is a stupid acroynm.
I'm just going to get the big question out of the way first, since that's what'll likely be bringing you here to begin with.Q: Am I allowed to use [song] for [x]?
A: Since I've received a handful of various questions about whether or not people are allowed to use my works and under what conditions, I've decided to try and streamline the process a bit.Generally speaking for any sort of content I do not want people making extensions or edits (or blatant reuploads) of my works. If you're wanting to use any of my stuff as background music for things like video essays, timelapse videos or other content where the music is not really meant to be the focus, that's absolutely fine, so long as I'm properly credited!Remixes, covers and whatever other similar things can fall under that category are always allowed and appreciated. (Do credit me when posting these, too.)I would however like to ask that people not create fanprojects (such as fangames) using my works, especially when they are already attached to one of my own projects. Certain exceptions might apply to this, but for Undertale/Deltarune-based content I would prefer they not get used for fanprojects.Similarly, for animations (or other projects where music would still be a key component) I would rather my music not be used, especially if it's already tied to an existing project (be it my own or someone else's), UNLESS it's a fan-animation of said projects. As for non-UT/DR content, just ask first and I'd be open to discussing it!The About Me page also contains ways to contact me about these things, please read the contact section before you message me.
Q: Do you take commissions?
A: Admittedly this one ISN'T as commonly asked but it's been asked enough times that I might as well add this in here.Easiest answer: Not yet.Unfortunately I'm not in the easiest position to receive money from people, so commissions aren't something I can provide currently.
Q: Could you help me out with my project?
A: IIIIII've got my plate full enough as is. That doesn't mean it's a hard no, but I'd have to be genuinely interested and willing to invest time into it, and usually, whenever that's the case, I'll be the one approaching you about it.
Q: Do you take requests?
A: As of right now I do not have plans to take requests in the traditional sense. That said, every couple of weeks I post a Community Post on my YouTube to poll the audience to see which track they might be most interested in hearing, and for those polls I typically accept suggestions if I find them interesting enough!Currently this is on hiatus to make room for a "12 Days of Christmas" event, so if you're looking to get a request in, now's your chance! Check out the Community Post here and leave a comment!
Q: Could you make an extension of [x]?
A: Currently I do not plan to make extended versions of songs (beyond the bare minimum to avoid having tracks that are less than a minute long turn into a YouTube Short). It's also fairly unnecessary as most versions of YouTube have a loop feature, and so does SoundCloud. If I do make extensions they will likely go on a dedicated "Extended Versions" channel.
Q: What projects do you currently work on?
A: I have quite a handful of projects that I'm working on, including my own. Notable projects I help/have helped out on are:
- Inverted Fate
- TS!Underswap
- Differentopic
- Just about every single AU created by Slick SilverProjects of my own that are still being maintained (or plan to be!):
- Monster Mix
- The T-SPIN series
- Escape from the Dark World
- DashingToadietaleFinished projects:
- Sans Undertale: Barricaded
- Smorgasbord
